CTET Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following educational qualifications to appear for CTET:
Paper I (For Classes 1 to 5)
– Senior Secondary (12th) with at least 50% marks AND 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)
– OR 12th with 45% marks AND D.El.Ed (as per NCTE norms)
– OR 12th with 50% marks AND 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
Paper II (For Classes 6 to 8)
– Graduation AND 2-year D.El.Ed / B.Ed
– OR Graduation with 50% marks AND 1-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)
