What is Rajasthan Kalibai Scooty Scheme?
Kalibai Scooty Yojana has been started by the Rajasthan government for the girl students studying in schools. The benefit of this scheme will be given to those girls who have scored good marks in class 12th and have taken admission in college, university. Under this scheme, the girls will be selected on the basis of merit list.
The government has also made a provision to give a cash amount of Rs. 40,000 in place of scooty to the girl students of economically weaker section to pursue education, that is, if the girl students do not want to take the scooty, they can also take cash from the government in lieu of it.
Through this scheme, 10,000 cooties will be distributed every year by the Rajasthan government. Girls studying in both private and government schools can apply under this scheme.

Total scooty ratio to be given under Rajasthan Kalibai Scooty Yojana
1. Under this scheme, 50% of girl students studying in government schools of the Board of Secondary Education in the state of Rajasthan will be provided scooties.
2. Under this scheme, 25% scooties will be distributed to girl students of private schools.
3. Scooty will be distributed to 25% of girl students who passed Central Board of Secondary Education from government or private schools.
4. For this scheme, the number of scooties has been fixed by the government on the basis of different percentages in Science, Arts and Commerce subjects.
5. 40% scooties will be distributed in science stream, apart from this 5% scooties will be distributed in commerce stream and 55% scooties will be distributed in arts stream.

Eligibility conditions set for Rajasthan Kali Bai Scooty Yojana 2024
1. The applicant girl should be a native of Rajasthan.
2. Only girls will be eligible for this scheme.
3. The annual income of the girl’s parents should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh.
4. The applicant girl should have passed class 12th with minimum 65% marks.
5. Girls studying in private schools are also eligible to avail the benefits of this scheme.
6. Those girls who have been given the benefit of scooty in class 10th will be given an incentive amount of Rs 40,000 on the basis of marks obtained in class 12th.
