On 1 December 2018, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi created a scheme called PM Kisan Samman Nidhi to provide financial assistance to the farmers of the country from time to time and since then this scheme has been running successfully and through it eligible farmers are continuously getting benefits.
This is a scheme under which the Government of India provides ₹ 6000 to the eligible farmers in a year through DBT in their bank accounts, which the farmers do not have to wander anywhere to get. Apart from this, let us tell you that you will not receive this financial amount of ₹ 6000 at once but it will be provided in different installments.

Under this scheme, the Government of India releases three installments in a year which are released at an interval of approximately 4 months and ₹2000 is made available to the farmers in each installment. How to apply for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi?
- To register, all you farmers have to open the official website of PM Kisan.
- Now the home page of the website will open in front of you, in this you will get the option of New Farmer Registration under Farmers Corner.
- You have to click on this option, after which the registration form will open in front of you.
- In the registration form, you will see two options which are as follows: Rural Farmer Registration (for rural areas) Urban Farmer Registration (for urban areas)
- Now you have to select the relationship option and after that enter the Aadhar card number.
- After this you have to enter your mobile number and select your state.
- Now you have to enter the displayed captcha code and click on send OTP option.
- After this, you have to verify the received OTP by entering it in the designated place.
- Now a new page will open in which you will have to enter your personal information.
- After this you will have to click on the final submit option and then your registration will be completed.
- After completion of registration, you have to take a printout of your registration form and keep it safe.
