Laptop Sahay Yojana has been started by the Chief Minister of Gujarat state. It is being operated by the Tribal Municipal Corporation Department. Through this scheme, the government will provide financial assistance of Rs 1,50,000 to tribal students, which will be provided in the form of loan. Actually, 80% of the amount received through this scheme will be given by the government as a grant. Beneficiary students will have to pay only 20% of the amount.
