Abua Housing Scheme Objective
The objective of starting the Abua Housing Scheme by the Jharkhand government is that the poor citizens of the state should have their own permanent house and for this a budget of Rs 15000 crore has also been set by the state government.
The state government has set its target to provide housing facilities to about 20 lakh families of the state through this scheme by the year 2028.

- A three-room house will be built for all the beneficiary families through the scheme.
- Those citizens who have not got the benefit of PM Awas Yojana earlier will get the benefit of this scheme.
Eligibility for Abua Housing Scheme
- Under this scheme, only the permanent residents of Jharkhand state are considered eligible.
- All the BPL card holders of Jharkhand state will be considered eligible.
- Applicants whose annual income is less than Rs 250000 are considered eligible for the waiting list.
- Those who have previously availed any residential facility are not considered eligible under the scheme.

How to check the waiting list of Abua Housing Scheme?
- First of all, all of you applicants have to open its official website.
- After opening the website, you will see a window in which you will get the option related to the waiting list, you will have to click on it.
- After doing this, a new page will open in front of you in which you select the information of the relevant district, tehsil, village.
- After this you will have to enter the details of which session’s waiting list you want to check.
- After doing this, you will see the option of submit button on which you will have to click.
- Now the Abua Awas Yojana waiting list will open in front of you in which you have to see your name.
