Benefits and Features of Abua Awas Yojana
The benefits and features of Abua Housing Scheme are as follows.
1. This scheme was launched on 15 August 2023 by the Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Hemant Soren.
2. Under this scheme, people who live in kutcha houses or are destitute can take advantage of this scheme.
3. Under this scheme, the government will provide financial assistance of up to Rs 2 lakh to the beneficiaries to build a 3-room house.
4. Rs 15,000 crore has been spent to operate this scheme.
5. The government has set a target of building 8 lakh pucca houses by the year 2026.
6. People of any caste and class can apply under this scheme.
7. Abua Awas Yojana Under this, application can be made both online and offline.
Eligibility required for Abua Awas Yojana
The benefit of this scheme will be given only to those people who fulfill all its eligibility criteria.
1. Abua Awas Yojana To avail the benefit, it is necessary to be a native of Jharkhand state.
2. People who do not have a home are eligible for this scheme.
3. The annual income of the family of the applicant applying in this scheme should not exceed Rs 2 lakh.
4. The family which has already got the benefit of any housing scheme is no longer eligible for it.

Process to apply offline in Abua Awas Yojana
